Where to set it
“More → Settings”. Three groups: interface, on the water, data.
Appearance — System, Dark, Light. Switches instantly, with no restart.
Language — Russian or English. The interface changes at once; lessons and rules are still partly Russian only.
Units — knots and metres, km/h and metres, miles and feet. Speed, depths and wave are shown in what you chose.
On the water
Cyrillic transcription — a line under every English phrase in the phrasebook.
Haptics — the tactile reply to taps and switches.
Keep the screen on during a watch — while the anchor watch is open.
Night brightness — a red filter over the interface after sunset, so your eyes keep their dark adaptation.
Data
Download over Wi-Fi only — the offline packs weigh up to 1.4 GB.
Offline downloads — what has already been downloaded.
Clear the cache — removes the weather cache and temporary files. Offline packs, handover photos and the logbook stay.
