What can be downloaded
“More → Offline downloads”. Six packs:
3D lessons — 40 lessons, scenes and voice-over;
COLREGs — the full text and diagrams;
Lights and shapes — 34 configurations and the trainer;
Phrasebook and voice — phrases and voice files;
Tests and quizzes — exams and reviews;
Area maps — tiles for popular areas.
Every pack shows its size and its state: not downloaded, downloading, downloaded. The full set is about 1.4 GB.
How to download
Tap a pack — the download runs in the background and the progress shows in the row. The “Download over Wi-Fi only” setting keeps a pack out of mobile traffic; if there is no Wi-Fi, the app says so instead of waiting silently.
“Delete all downloads” frees the space — the content stays available online.
What works without the packs
The texts of the rules, the phrases, the checklists and the test questions are in the app from the very beginning. The packs add the heavy parts: lesson scenes, diagrams, voice and maps.
