Required angles
The handover camera walks you through a list of angles and shows how many of the required ones are covered. An angle can be skipped and taken later, and you can shoot your own — a “free angle” for whatever matters on this particular boat.
If there is no camera, or access to it is closed, a shot can be added as a file from the gallery — the date and the coordinates are recorded the same way.
Where the shots live
“More → Handover photos” holds the whole roll of the session. Here you can:
add a caption to a shot (“gelcoat scratch 12 cm”);
select several shots and delete the extra ones;
build a report out of the marked damages.
The photos do not go into the phone’s gallery, are not deleted together with a chat and survive a gallery clean-up. If location is off, the app warns you honestly: the coordinates will not make it into the file.
What to shoot
Shoot before departure and go around the boat: both sides, bow and stern, deck, cockpit, sails in their covers, the engine, the instruments with their readings, the safety gear and every mark already on the hull. On return the same angles are shot again — the comparison keeps the conversation with the base short.
