Reading a passage: map, charts, GPX

The passage card shows the track on a map, the speed by hour and the weather that was there at the time, and hands you a GPX file for any other program.

The logbook

The logbook: passages, miles and engine hours

The logbook holds the season totals (passages, miles, engine hours) and the list of passages, newest on top. The list can be filtered by boat if you have several.

The passage card

At the top is the map with the track: the start is green, the finish is red. The heading is composed automatically: “12 June, left 08:40, moored 14:05”. Below are the metrics: miles, time under way, average and maximum speed.

Charts switch between speed, wind and wave. Drag across a chart and the matching leg is highlighted on the map. Wind and wave come from the forecast for the hours of the passage, so older passages may have none.

What you can do

Note — can be added at any time.

Export GPX — a file with the track points: shared through the system sheet, or simply downloaded in a browser.

Share — a passage card for Stories, Reels or a post: format, dark or light theme, map, speed and your own photo in the background. The finished image is saved to the gallery or downloaded as a PNG.

Tracks live on the device and need no connection: the map on the card is drawn from the saved points.
