Rules: the frequent ones, search and parts

“Learning → COLREGs”. At the top is the search: it understands both a rule number and a situation — “sailing vessel to starboard”, “overtaking”, “fog”. Below are the tiles “Needed most often”: look-out (5), risk of collision (7), sailing vessels (12), overtaking (13), crossing (15), restricted visibility (19).

The full text is laid out in six parts, A to F.

Every rule opens in two views:

In plain words — a short retelling of what it means on the water;

The text of the rule — the official wording in full, with its paragraphs.

Below are “See also” with neighbouring rules and three buttons: Ask the AI (the assistant answers within this rule), Trainer (situations on the topic) and “Add to favourites”.

Offline

The texts of the rules live on the device and open with no connection. The diagrams come as a separate pack: “More → Offline downloads → COLREGs”.
