Where it lives
Three ways in: the card on “Today”, the section “Learning → Assistant”, and the “Ask the AI” button in a rule card — that one brings the context of the rule with it.
How to ask
The assistant understands ordinary language. Questions about a situation work better than questions about wording:
“Who gives way if she is to starboard under sail?”
“What do a green and two whites in line mean?”
“How do we reef under way with two of us?”
“What should I check if there is no water from the exhaust?”
The answer has three parts: what to do — the short conclusion, the source — the rule paragraph or the lesson, and “Show the diagram” if the situation can be drawn. “Refine” continues the conversation without losing the context.
Limits
The assistant does not plan routes and does not replace charts and pilot books. Check the answers against the text of the rule — the link is always right there.
The assistant needs a connection. Without one, the rules and lessons open as usual, offline.
How many questions
There is a limited number of requests per day; the counter is in “More → Access” and resets every day. A code can add requests on top of the daily allowance.
