The watchWidget on the watch face

Speed and a “recording” mark right on the face: check how you are going without opening the app.

Adding it

1On the watch, press and hold the face and tap “Edit”.

2Scroll to the watchWidgets and pick a slot.

3Find Voone in the list.

Four families are supported: circular, corner, inline and rectangular. The circular and corner ones show the speed, the inline one shows it as a line, and the rectangular one adds wind and miles.

What it shows

Speed in knots from the last track point.

The recording mark while a passage is being written.

A dash when there is no data: a snapshot older than a minute counts as stale, and the watchWidget will not pass an old speed off as fresh.

Tapping the watchWidget opens the app on the watch.

If there is no data

The watchWidget is updated by the watch app, and that one by the phone. If the phone is far away, switched off or Voone is not running on it, the watchWidget shows a dash. Opening the app on the phone brings the data back within a minute.
