Why an account
An account is needed for messages, clubs, trainings, the member map and syncing between devices. Everything else — rules, phrases, tests, the lights trainer, the logbook, boats, weather — works without it, right on the device.
How to sign in
1“More → Access”, or “Sign in” on the welcome screen.
2Enter your e-mail address. We send a letter with a six-digit code.
3Type the code on the “Check your e-mail” screen. The letter arrives within a minute; if it does not, look in the spam folder.
4The first sign-in asks for your name and city: other members see them. A photo can be added later.
The code has a limited lifetime; the “Send again” button becomes active after a minute.
Where to see the state
“More → Access” shows whether you are signed in, what is open on this device and how many assistant requests are left today. The activation code is entered from there as well.
Signing out and deleting
You can sign out in the profile. Deleting the account is there too: the profile, messages and clubs are removed, while the local logbook and photos stay on the device until you erase them separately.
