The damage report and signatures

The report is built from captioned photos, signed with a finger on the screen and sent to the base by mail or as a PDF file.

Building it

The report: signatures and sending to the base

1Open “Handover photos → Build report”.

2Tap “Add damage from a photo” and pick a shot. Its caption becomes a line of the report — better written in English: the base reads it.

3Remove an extra line with “Remove from report”.

Every line keeps the date, the time and the coordinates from the photo file — nothing has to be typed by hand.

Signatures

“Sign with a finger” opens two fields: yours and the base’s. Draw right on the screen; the field is emptied with “Clear”. Once saved, the report header shows “signed”.

Sending

Save PDF — the system share sheet; in a browser a print dialog opens, from which the file is saved as a PDF.

Send to the base — a letter or a message with the text of the report.

If there are no shots yet, the screen says plainly that the report is empty and offers to photograph the damages first.
