How it is built
“More → Phrases”, or the quick button on “Today”. Phrases are grouped by situation: calling a marina, port control, a bridge, fuel, anchoring, distress calls. The search understands both a word from the phrase and the situation — “marina”, “fuel”, “bridge”, “anchor”.
A phrase card
A category is not a list but a dialogue: lines in turn, each marked with who is speaking (you, the marina, the port, the bridge, the station). Every phrase has:
the English text and a translation;
a Cyrillic transcription — visible while the “Cyrillic transcription” setting is on;
Speak and Slowly — the phone’s voice reads the phrase out;
“If you did not understand the reply” — a fallback line such as “Say again slowly, please”.
“Play the whole dialogue” plays the lines in order — the rhythm is easier to remember that way.
Favourites
The phrases you need are starred and collected in a separate list: before a manoeuvre it is easier to open five of your own than to scroll through all of them.
