What is there
Exams: GIMS — 60 questions in 45 minutes, COLREGs — 30 in 25, IYT Bareboat (theory) — 40 in 40. Each shows your best result and the number of attempts.
Short quizzes — 10 to 15 questions on one topic: lights and shapes, sound signals, IALA marks, tides, berthing, safety, the engine.
Questions are drawn from a shared pool, so the second attempt does not repeat the first.
During a test
At the top are the counter “7 of 30” and the time left. A question can be flagged and returned to at the end: before finishing, the app reminds you that flagged ones are still open. Leaving a test asks for confirmation — the answers will not be saved.
If a test was interrupted, the next time you open it you can continue from the same place or start over.
Result and review
The result shows the score, the pass threshold and the split by topic. “Review the mistakes” opens every wrong answer: what you chose, what was right, why — and an “open the text” button leading to the rule itself.
All attempts are kept in a history with date and score, and the results feed “Progress”.
